500m Run
1-Arm Overhead Kettlebell Squats (35/26lbs)

Note: “Nicole” style scoring, put the kettlebell down at any point and run 200m.

* Bottom of the bell must stay above shoulder for entire squat for rep to count, hip crease below knee for full depth and hips at full extension at the top of the squat.
* Every time the bottom of the kb touches shoulder, head, or falls below the shoulder you must run 200m before returning to the kb and continuing.
* You may change hands as long as the bell does not fall below your shoulder or touch your shoulder or head. Holding with 2 hands overhead is acceptable only when resting or changing hands.
* For the rep to count, the kettlebell must remain in the same hand for the full duration of the squat.

  1. Keep stretchin those shoulder mountains of your Les. The weight is nada for you, its just the mobility. You’ll knock that out next time. B-Delz, I bet you pop 200 this go around. Jen that’s a great score. Top 20 is killer!

  2. I checked the results for the women and had I been at the 2010 sectionals, my raggedy score would have put me in 20th place out of 34! Nothin, to write home about! First place was 204! I should have strategized a little better.

  3. Got frustrated with my lack of flexibility today. Overhead squats are still improving, but I thought the 1-arm kbs would be easier, could not lock the arm overhead and could only get 70, couldn’t even do enough to get winded.
