Josh Hoffman

I found CrossFit in November of 2010 when Lumpy asked me to come check out this new gym that he was opening. After watching the demo WOD that day I have been hooked into every aspect of CrossFit. Athletics and the human body have always been a huge part of my life. I have a Sports Medicine degree where I worked as an Athletic Trainer at Hamot Sports Medicine and Strong Vincent High School for 8 years. I also recently went back to school for my nursing degree where I now work as a orthopedic and trauma nurse at Hamot.
CrossFit is now another avenue in which I see the mind and body work together to achieve amazing results. CrossFit challenges people to do things that they would probably never consider trying. I was lucky enough to gain my CrossFit Level 1 Trainer certification in 2011 and join the staff at FBO Fitness. The positive family feeling at FBO Fitness and throughout the CrossFit community is unmatched. Being able to work with and watch athletes improve everyday both mentally and physically at FBO Fitness is indescribable. I urge everyone of all fitness levels to come experience it for themselves.
I look forward to gaining knowledge everyday and working with  this awesome group of staff and clients at FBO Fitness / 212 Degrees of Fitness Barbell and Power lifting Club!
